Import an eToro statement

eToro allows you to download your account statement in CSV format. Taxes Crypto automatically extracts the crypto transactions from this statement to calculate your taxes.

Important: Crypto transactions only

The eToro statement also contains stock and ETF transactions. Taxes Crypto automatically filters to keep only cryptocurrency transactions.

Log in to eToro

Go to etoro.com and log in to your account. Complete security verification if required.

Access your account statement

Click on 'Portfolio' in the left menu, then on the settings icon or the 'Account Statement' button. You can also access it via your profile settings.

💡 The statement is also accessible from the 'Portfolio' section > gear icon.

Download the statement

Select the desired period (we recommend the full tax year). Choose the Excel/CSV format. Click 'Create' to generate the statement, then download it.

💡 The eToro statement may take a moment to generate for accounts with many transactions.

Import into Taxes Crypto

In Taxes Crypto, go to 'Platforms' > 'Add a platform'. Select eToro, then 'CSV Import'. Upload your file. Taxes Crypto automatically extracts the crypto transactions.

💡 Stock and ETF transactions are automatically ignored — only crypto is imported.

Review and calculate your taxes

Check the crypto transactions extracted from your statement. Verify that the amounts match, then run the capital gains calculation to get your tax report.

💡 If you also have an eToro Money crypto account, you may need to import it separately.
