AES-256-GCM encryption at rest and in transit
Every piece of sensitive data ā your Binance API key, API secret and personal information ā is encrypted with the AES-256-GCM algorithm before it is written to disk. Data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. Even in the unlikely event of a server breach, your credentials remain unreadable without the encryption keys, which are stored separately in a hardware-backed key management system.
Verified read-only API access
When you connect your Binance account, Taxes Crypto automatically checks that the API key has only the Read permission. If we detect Trading or Withdrawal permissions, the connection is rejected outright and you are asked to create a new read-only key. This ensures that our platform can never place orders, transfer funds or modify your Binance account in any way.
European hosting and full GDPR compliance
All servers and databases are hosted at Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany ā inside the European Union. Your data never leaves European soil. We comply fully with the GDPR: you can export all your personal data at any time, request its deletion and we will erase everything within the legally required timeframe. No data is shared with third parties.

Can Taxes Crypto access my Binance funds?
No. We enforce read-only API access. If your key has trading or withdrawal permissions, the connection is rejected. We have no ability to move funds on your account.
How can I delete my data?
Go to Dashboard > Settings > Danger Zone and click Delete Account. All your data ā API keys, transactions, reports and personal information ā will be permanently erased from our servers.
